I wanted y’all to know I just read in an e-mail church bulletin from my church family in Abilene (Highland Church of Christ) a prayer request for:
“Kinney Mabry – son of Gary Mabry, chemistry teacher at AHS – in Kerrville hospital with double pneumonia, as well as being anemic”
… and I’m guessing it’s our favorite preacherman. So I ask you to pray for our brother while he’s ill and away from the keyboard.
Thanks for the “heads up” on preacherman.
I sure will keep him in my prayers. > Out of nowhere, this guy, Kinney, came along as a preacher and validated my manuscript on my blog.> His thoughts mean a lot to me. I struggled to allow myself to post some of the most controversial thoughts I have had about certain things in scripture, worrying that people would think I was insane to say some of the things I said. Then I saw this message from “Preacher man”! Wow, I have just received the approval of a man trained in the word of God.> So, yes, selfishly I want to hear from him again.>Jim
THanks for mentioning that Keith.
Hello, my name is Cecelia. I heard about preacherman through John Dobbs. I will pray for him. I’ve had Pneumonia 3 times in my life and it’s nearly taken my life each time. Nothing to play with.
Thanks for letting us know about Kinney. We are praying for him.>>This is off-topic, but I think I heard a little birdie mention something about someone having a birthday on Monday.>>Happy birthday, brother! Hope you have a great day!!>>Blessings,>-bill
I want you to thank you for keeping me in you prayers. My chest still hurts like crazy from the front all the way to the back. The doctors also found that I had also had lost 25% of my blood. Tests were run and they found that I have severe esophagitis (ulcers from one end of my esophagus to the other) and Barrett’s Esophagus (which will turn into cancer) so I have to have a biopsy and EGD every year for the rest of my life.>>They couldn’t do the biopsy already because my esophagus was too hurt, so they’ll do it in 3 months.
Kinney, I’m glad you’re well enough to be behind a keyboard, even for a few moments!>>We will have that biopsy as a subject of our prayers.
I would love it if your congregations could add me to their prayer requests. Over the past year and half I have learned the power of prayer. Than you.>In Him,>Kinney Mabry
